newsNat has recently returned to work at Reset Urban Design after spending ten weeks travelling through Western and Southern Europe. Nat’s travel included visiting eleven countries, spanning from Belfast in the West to Dubrovnik in the East and from Berlin in the North to Sardinia in the South. Trip highlights were numerous, but included a week spent sailing along the Croatian coastline, a Landscape Architect’s pilgrimage to Andre Le Notre’s grandiose grounds of Palace of Versailles in Paris, and two days spent navigating through the winding laneways of the Tuscan hill town of Siena. Nat thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience, visiting many of the places that he had researched and referred to, over the previous years of study and professional practice. He also particularly enjoyed emersion in the foreign cultures, languages and food, and the friendships that were forged with fellow travelers. Having captured over four and a half thousand images over the two and a half months of travel, selecting just three images was somewhat of a challenge. Included are images of the Orangerie at Versailles, the stark beauty of the Croatian coastline and Menashe Kadishman’s moving sculpture “Falling Leaves”, housed within Berlin’s Jewish Memorial Museum.
